3. Do you think we should have the Lignosulfate installed now or in the spring? The province might take the product out of HWY #529 in the fall. This was an experimental product to them and they had not originally planned to continue the maintenance in the winter. We are working with them to ensure the product remains over winter or gets re-applied in the spring

4. The board has had conversations with the county. They have proposed going to the county council with 2 options. One is they will pay to have Lignosulfate installed from HWY #529 to the resort entrance but we have to cover repairs, through existing property taxes (no aditional charge) or supplemental taxes. The other option is to have oil placed from HWY #529 all the way to the boat launch and they would maintain the road. The county prefers the oil as it is cheaper to maintain. The oil is mixed with the gravel and acts only as a dust suppressent and not a hard surface. The oil will also track easier into houses, garages, boats etc. We will not know the answer until November/December time frame. Which do you support?

13. In the August newsletter, the board presented creating a breakwater (rock wall) around our dock in order to be able to expand it. We may also be able to expand the parking lot as well by filling in the north east side of the parking lot (up the hill, past the boat dock, towards the bible camp) and allow trailer or vehicle parking, rather than parallel parking. Do you support any of these initiatives? This is just a support question, if there is enough interest, firm pricing will be presented after Alberta Environment audit. We could also finance this over a few years.
